KARL B. Schultz

Karl Schultz has been a resident of Miami Township since the age of seven and attended the Milford Exempted School District from second grade through graduation in 1962.

Mr. Schultz has been a member of the Miami Township, Clermont County, Board of Trustees since 2008. He joined the Miami Township Rural Zoning Commission in 1983, and served as chairman from 1985 through 1998, a period of high growth for Miami Township. He was a member of the Clermont County Planning Commission from 2004 to 2008, and served as chairman in 2008. Mr. Schultz was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana Regional Planning Authority (OKI) in 2006 and currently serves on the OKI Executive Committee.

A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Mr. Schultz retired from Cincinnati Milacron in 2006, after 42 years serving in senior management positions. He served in the Air Force Reserve from 1965 until he retired as a Colonel in 2004. Colonel Schultz was the Air Mobility Command Crisis Action Team Director during operations in Iraq prior to his retirement.

Karl and his wife Sharon are parents of two children and three grandchildren. Sharon is a registered nurse and retired nursing college faculty member. Daughter Juli and daughter-in-law Andrea are also nurses. Son Rick is an engineer with Fanuc Corporation. Karl and Sharon are active members of the Milford First United Methodist Church.
